DONATING COLLECTIONS TO THE LARRY HAGMAN LEGACY LIBRARY

The library appreciates donations of collections that enrich the existing collection and that support preserving the legacies of Larry and Mary Martin. Extensive collections will be gratefully acknowledged by the library.

The Library accepts materials that:

Support the library's mission
Are free from markings, damage, insects and stains
Are free from donor restrictions

Due to staff resources, the following policies apply to all donations:

Appraisals of the value of a donation cannot be provided
Only gifts that are accepted by the Collection Development Librarian are acknowledged to the donor

Books, magazines, clippings
Dallas memorablia and props
I Dream of Jeannie memorabilia and props
Larry Hagman memorabila
Mary Martin memorabilia
Musical recordings
Photographs
Scripts
VHS, Beta, DVDs, film reels

If you have materials which you think might be a good fit with our collection, please contact us. You spent a lifetime assembling your collection, and it deserves a home where it will be appreciated and shared with the world. Too often heirs have no idea how to deal with these types of collections, and all too often they end up scattered without recognition of their value as a whole, or even disposed of without any understanding of their importance.

Your donation may also provide a valuable tax deduction, and we encourage you to speak to your tax advisor about the benefits of a donation to the library. Future Giving:

Donors contemplating future gifts of collections, estate planning and/or naming the library in their will as the ultimate beneficiary are encouraged to contact the Development Collection Librarian at collections@larryhagmanlegacylibrary.org. to determine the library's extent of interest in the items which they have.

How to Donate:

Donors must contact the llibrary to discuss potential gifts before sending them in. Contact the Collection Development Librarian at collections@larryhagmanlegacylibrary.org.

We ask that you provide a list (or sample list) of items to be donated.
